Ok, so I got an idea for a website, but I don't know html. So I'm looking for website builders that don't involve html or PHP. Most of them either cost a ton, or are not accessible, or involve HTML or PHP. Are there any free, nonHtml, accessible website builders?

You can try some site builder services like WordPress and other tools. I heard WP is the best one out there, so giving that a try would be the best thing to do now.

I think the best thing to do is learning html. It is very simple than another programming language, so you can learn it in a minute.

Burak is right. It's like giving a man a fish or teaching him to fish.

Anyway, you can find excellent training at w3 schools online

Thanks. I have been learning HTML for a while now. Although, one cannot just make a site from HTML. Is there anywhere I can learn JavaScript, PhP and MySQL? Also, does one need an Ide or something to write out a website?

Hi,

I've got my OCP certification for database administration from Oracle. So SQL is something I'm very familiar with. I'd advise you learn with MySQL, good database to use if configured properly.

You will be using the command line for most of the beginning lessons, since you need to know how to cut the code properly and understand the associated feedback from your screen reader of choice.

Here are 2 links to MySQL and how to get started with it. Some syntax statements that I use are different than what you'll be using if SQL is what you decide to use. Though MySQL isn't necessary to use for website design unless you use a Content Management System like Drupal or Joomla.

Both are run on Linux with MySQL since it is more stable for 24 7 operation unlike Windows. Here are 2 different SQL tutorial links, enjoy.

The only thing I would add to the above post:
Do you have a Bookshare account? If not, I'm guessing you are still a student, and can probably get one for free. Look up O'Reilly publications on there. Use a real book reader like your browser or something to read the books in so you can look at code examples, not something I would think very possible with the talking players, but I may be wrong.
Anyway O'Reilly Publications has books on Javascript, PHP, SQL, SOAP, and pretty much everything else web and programming. Those publications make a great reference shelf when you need to go look up something.
